This project sits on a small plot, sandwiched between a main rail route and the residential area south of Hohlstrasse. It is one of numerous new commercial developments recently built on this thin sliver of land. For an office building, it is a new take on the classic slab and podium model. Here, B&E spring the tower slab from one side of the podium rather than striking it from out of the top. The three visible corners of the tower are marked where they reach the ground by double-height entrance features. The slick, tinted glass envelope features a double façade which acts as a thermal and acoustic buffer. On the inner façade, openable windows are located at 1200mm centres.
