This project by Herzog & De Meuron is quite unknown and built for Ricola between the storage building and the Ricola Europe building. Nevertheless not without interest, because of it's quite unusual approach comparing to most of their buildings. Situated next the the famous storage building in Laufen this little extension was built upon an existing two storey wing with an independent massive metal structure. It looks like a big table put upon another building. On the backside the black metal beams cover a courtyard.
