The various objects that constitute the museum collection of the Museum of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Oporto are scattered throughout the buildings of the Faculty. Inaugurated in the new complex Asprela II of the Pole in 2001, the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto is one of the largest complex of teaching has always built. It was designed by architects Pedro Ramalho and Luis Ramalho, was built between October 1996 and July 2000. With a total area built around 80 000 metres, the complex is composed of different bodies that host the sites for the teaching, research, services and administration.
