The Headquarters of the international bank ABN AMRO is situated on the Amsterdam Zuidas (south-axe). It is one of 10 highest buildings of Amsterdam, with 105 m height and 24 storeys. It was the first major work in the development of this new area. The design responds to a request by the Board of Managers to reinforce the image of the bank as "powerful, reliable, experienced" and also "professional, dynamic and international."
